Beautiful flowers and beautiful birds! The guides were very sweet, especially the young lady that was working with the birds August 8th! She took the time to show us some tricks they could do and give us details on their backstory. It was a great experience and I highly reccommended this place.

Stopped by on a whim and we actually enjoyed it more than the texas aquarium. They have some beautiful reptiles and all kind of amazing plants. The trails were quiet and serene.

It was wonderful relaxing time! The swamp deck was a nice walk out into the swamp. Lots of pretty flowers and a butterfly sanctuary. Reasonably priced and lots to see. Donβt miss it!

My family really enjoyed these botanical gardens. The parrots and reptiles were a major highlight - the parrots said βhelloβ and waved to us, and my son got to hold a millipede. The walking trails in the back by the playhouse are nice. The butterfly house was memorable as well. Next time we visit, we would like to try out the private parrot & reptile encounters!

Walking in to the cashier through the gift shop, great marketing idea. As you walk back to the next room it is the reptile room. We were told they are owner surrendered. Snakes, lizards, turtles and tarantulas in glass terrariums. Each with their own name and species. On the back are turtles in little pond structures that keep an eye on you. Around the corner are some interesting birds that will talk to you maybe. Then the plants start Cacti, Orchids any size and color, epiphytic plants. There is a butterfly screen house and buttery garden A hummingbird garden at the start of the nature trail out to the alligator pond (we didnβt see any) but along the way you are reminded this is a natural habitat area so watch your step. There is a rose garden which should start producing blooms end of March. There will be a playground (end of February)and pavilion with benches in the future. Exit through the gift shop or I noticed other exit gates outside.
